Why Ledger Live?

All-in-One Dashboard

Ledger Live consolidates all your crypto assets in one place. Track balances, monitor portfolio performance, and manage multiple accounts seamlessly.

Buy, Sell & Swap Securely

Through trusted partners integrated in Ledger Live, you can exchange assets without ever leaving the app. Your private keys never leave your device.

Stake & Earn Rewards

Ledger Live allows you to stake popular cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Tezos, and Polkadot, earning passive rewards while staying in control.

Bank-Grade Security

Combined with your Ledger hardware wallet, Ledger Live ensures that transactions are verified on-device, making it resistant to phishing or remote attacks.

Security First

Ledger Live is not just another crypto management app – it’s built with security as its foundation. Unlike web wallets or custodial services, Ledger Live works in tandem with your hardware wallet. This ensures your private keys are never exposed, even when you’re trading or staking.

How to Get Started with Ledger Live

Step 1: Download Ledger Live

Visit the official Ledger website and download Ledger Live for your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android). Verify that you are on the official site to avoid downloading malware.

Step 2: Connect Your Ledger Device

Plug in your Ledger Nano X, Nano S Plus, or Stax via USB or Bluetooth. Ledger Live will automatically detect your device and prompt you to unlock it using your PIN.

Step 3: Initialize and Secure

If your device is new, you’ll be guided to set up a PIN and note down your 24-word recovery phrase. Ledger Live provides a checklist to ensure you complete this step securely.

Step 4: Install Apps and Add Accounts

In the Ledger Live Manager section, install apps for the cryptocurrencies you want to manage. Then add accounts for Bitcoin, Ethereum, or others directly into your portfolio view.

Step 5: Buy, Send, and Receive

With accounts set up, you can receive crypto by generating addresses verified on your device. To send crypto, enter recipient details in Ledger Live and confirm the transaction on your Ledger hardware wallet.
